Annie Goodykoontz is a Phoenix-born student journalist based in Columbia, Missouri. Her work has been published in outlets worldwide. This past summer, she interned at The Los Angeles Times covering breaking news on the Fast Break desk. Annie is a junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she spent her sophomore year as editor-in-chief of the student paper, The Maneater. While interning on the breaking news desk at The Arizona Republic, she covered everything from a runaway lizard on the highway to the ethics of stealing fruit from neighbors’ trees. This fall, Annie is studying abroad, interning at Euractiv in Brussels, Belgium.
